Lindrose-Walter A., Jr., 85, Nanty Glo, passed away Nov.20, 2019 at Rebekah Manor. He was born Jan. 23, 1934 in Nanty Glo. Son of the late Walter A. and Bertha Vay (Ross) Lindrose, Sr. Preceded in death by wife Carol Ann (Kanich) Lindrose. Sisters Arlene Monborne, Marie Hagens, and Donna Goldsmith. Walt is survived by his children James (Linda) Lindrose, Arizona and Valarie (Louis) Buige, Lititz. Grandchildren Thomas and Lisa. Step grandchildren Elizabeth and Anthony. Great grandchildren Brianna and Damien. Brothers Ron (Carol) Lindrose and Larry “Butch” Lindrose. Numerous nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law Joseph (Sharon) Kanich. Member of the First Baptist Church, Nanty Glo, where he severed as Deacon and trustee.  Army Veteran, that served in Korea. He worked in construction all his life and was always helping family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 4PM, Rev. Clayton Harriger and Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers donation maybe made to Rebekah Manor, Kindred Hospice, or Cambria County Humane Society.
