Steve "Skip" Harmotta

Harmotta-Steve “Skip”, 71, Nanty Glo, passed away Jan. 1, 2020 at home. He was born Dec. 10, 1948 In Nanty Glo. Son of the late Steve and Mildred (Brinzo) Harmotta. Preceded in death by wife Dorothy and brother John “Mokey” Harmotta. Skip is survived by Cousins Marjorie (Bob Trout) Soltis, Ann Marie (Thomas) Holliday, and Peter Brinzo, Godson Thomas Michael (Sarah) Holliday and there children Michael and Alex. Granddaughter Jessie Bravo (Bob Stevens). Companion Jeanette Calderon. Numerous other cousins and friends. Devoted member of the Holy Ascention Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Nanty Glo. US Air Force Veteran. Member of the Parkhill Legion, Twin Rocks VFW, and Nanty Glo Moose. He was an avid fisherman, and loved animals. He was an all around handy man, and loved the Oakland Raiders. Visitation will be Saturday at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, from 1PM until time of Parasta Service at 3 PM, the Rev. Fr. George Hnatko, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
