Stanley P. Lawrence, 63, Nanty Glo, died July 16, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 15, 1950, in Johnstown, son of the late Steve and Anna (Batovich) Lawrence. Preceded in death by sister, Carol Lawrence; and father- and mother-in-law, James H. and Judith Dibert. Survived by wife, the former Callie Lamont, Nanty Glo; children, Brian (Geannie) Lawrence, Windber; grandsons, Brody and Bailey Lawrence; brothers and sister-in-law, James M. (Cindy) Dibert, Fairborn, Ohio; and Christopher Desmond Dibert, Hollidaysburg; nieces, Erika Dibert (David Foust) and Monica (Mike) Little, all of Fairborne, Ohio; beloved pets, Storm Tracker and Tweety; and numerous friends. He attended St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo, and worked at Barnes & Tucker Coal Mine and ran S & B recycling center. Member of Nanty Glo Moose Lodge, Nanty Glo Polish Club, Nanty Glo American Legion Post 619 and Nanty Glo VFW Post. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Father Martin A Cingle, celebrant. The family would like to thank the seventh floor cardiac ICU, Dr. Suaba Maitra, and the girls from the Kidney Center, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambria Co. Humane Society.
