Shane Robert Kupchella

Shane Robert Kupchella, 34 of Nanty Glo passed away October 23, 2020. Born February 27, 1986. Son of Martin & Sarah (Sally) Kupchella. Survived by parents and daughters Kensey & Everly Kupchella along with their mother Abby George. Also survived by brother Shawn (Kara) and his biggest supporter- his sister Stacey (Matt), and his nephew Blake Rummel who will deeply miss “Uncle.” Shane is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friend Joey Soflarsky. Shane had a strong love for golf, movies, and music. He was an avid guitar player and enjoyed writing songs and performing them for all. His blue eyes, contagious laughter and smile will forever live on in his adored daughters. A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 31st at St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo- Fr Leonard Voytek celebrant. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a fund established for Shane’s daughters under Abby George and Sarah Kupchella at Penn Crest Bank.
