Rosemary "Rosie" Garver

Garver-Rosemary "Rosie" (Ellis), 72, Twin Rocks, passed away March 2, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family after a 15 year courageous battle with lung cancer. Born Aug. 20, 1946 in Nanty Glo to the late James "Tank" and Margaret (Mahan) Ellis. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Paul, Robert, and Rich "Dick" Ellis. Sister Laura Jane Blair. Grandson Nicholas Maniccia. Rosie is survived by her son Robert F. Garver and wife Carol and daughter Denise Beilchick and husband Joseph. Grandchildren Allison Garver (Fiancé Josh Byers), Brandon Garver, Jared Garver, Christopher Hill (Ashley Miller-Lawson). Great grandchildren Kylie, Rylan, Nicholas, and Cason Garver, and Elijah, Greydon, and Maddox Hill. Siblings Ken Ellis, Texas, Gloria (Edward) Frederick, Strongstown, Donald (Donna) Ellis, Nanty Glo, Thomas (Margaret) Ellis, Ebensburg, and Valery Marana, New Hampshire. Rosie loved spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed big family gatherings, bingo, slot games, and her computer. Special thanks to nurse Judi, her aide Sue, her caseworker Amy, Father Scott, Dr. Sbeitan and staff, and Dr. Koh and staff. Family and friends will be received at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, on Wednesday, from 5PM until the time of funeral service at 7PM. Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the Family. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be sent to Conemaugh Regional Hospice.
