Robert W. Rodkey

Rodkey-Robert W., 82, Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord Aug. 15, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1937 in Nanty Glo. Son of the late Robert T. and Elda Mae (Mack) Rodkey. Preceded in death by 1st wife Carol Mae (McFeaters) Rodkey, brothers Walter, Raymond, William, and Lester. Sisters Elfa, Marie, Mary, Martha Jean. Robert is survived by wife Nancy (Strattan) Rodkey, Nanty Glo. Children Deborah Zearfoss, Berlin, Robert J. (Kathy) Rodkey, Nanty Glo, Timothy R. (Dana) Rodkey, Nanty Glo, Cathleen Rodkey, Columbia, SC. Grandchildren Ryan and Lara Zearfoss; Massi and Hamid Rodkey; Amanda, Caroline Rodkey, Leah (Willam) Campbell, and Dalton (Alyssa) Rodkey; Michael C. and Carol Smalley. 7 great grandchildren. Brother of Cloyd (Frankie) Rodkey, Kentucky and Ronald Rodkey, Tampa, Fl. He was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Nanty Glo. Robert served in the US Air Force. Retired from the US Postal Service after 27 years. Robert was a very kind and loving person. He would do anything for anybody. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 1 PM until the time of funeral services at 3pm at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church Nanty Glo, Rev. Russell J. Havener, Officiating. Bowser Ondriezek Funeral, Nanty Glo is in charge of the services. Memorial donations may be sent to Gap FCU 111 Franklin St., Johnstown, Pa 15901, in Robert's name. Military service will be held by the Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks, and Vintodale Ritual Team.
