Rob John Stohon

Rob John Stohon, 27, Vintondale, passed away April 2, 2014, at home. Born Aug. 22, 1986, in Johnstown, son of Robert and Debora (Zachesky) (Bradley) Stohon. Preceded in death by mother. Survived by wife, Ashley Weimer Stohon, Vintondale; children, Logan Wainwright, Johnstown; and Jocelyn Breyer, New Germany; and father, Robert, Wilmore. Brother of Robert A. (Theresa) Stohon, Mineral Point; Melissa (Brian) Yost, Johnstown; Stacey (Dave) Jarvis, Latrobe; and Stephanie Stohon, Reston, Va. Also survived by father- and mother-in-law, Chris and Eileen Weimer, Nanty Glo; sister- and brother-in-law, Cortney and Brad Weimer, Nanty Glo; numerous aunts and uncles; and nieces and nephews, Lindsy, Brian, Bailyn, Zachary, Jamison, Evan and Ethan. He served in the U.S. Army, having served in Iraq and Korea. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Robert Westrick, officiating. Interment to follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Cresson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rob's family. Military service will be conducted by the local veterans organizations.
