Paul J. "Nuck" Mcmullen, Sr.

McMullen-Paul J.,”Nuck”, Sr., 82, Nanty Glo, passed away Oct. 31, 2023. He was born Oct. 28, 1941 in Nanty Glo. Son of the late Lloyd C. and Irene (Shaw) McMullen. Preceded in death by brothers Danny and James McMullen. Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years Joyce McMullen, children PJ (Amy) McMullen, Mark McMullen, and Valerie (Randy) Price, grandchildren Chris, Ashlee, Bryce, Alex, Madison, Zack, Mackenzie, Taylor, and Ava, and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Patsy James, Marty (Barb) McMullen, Lloyd “Buddy”(Helen) McMullen, Donna (Pat) Kimble. Sister-in-law Patricia McMullen. Member of St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo, where he was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, council 8307, and Nanty Glo Polish Club. He was an US Air Force Veteran. Nuck was an avid Notre Dame Fan and golfer. In his younger days he played softball for many of the area teams. Visitation will be at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, Friday, from 4-8 PM, where a wake service will be held. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 10 AM, at St. Mary’s Church, Nanty Glo, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Military Services will be held by the Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks, and Vintondale Ritual team. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church.
