Patricia Ruth (Altimus) Hoffman, 79, Belsano, died Aug. 25, 2013, at Cambria Care Center. Born Feb. 13, 1934, in Belsano, daughter of the late Russell and Anna Grace (Helman) Altimus. Preceded in death by husband, William C. Hoffman; and brother, Llyod. Survived by children, Diane (Lawrence) Byerly, Cincinnati, Ohio; Linda (Wayne) Mac Ewan, Johnstown; Janet (Martin) Miller, Strongstown; Gregory (Kim) Hoffman, Ebensburg; Jeffery Hoffman, Belsano; Jean Ann (David) Miller, Strongstown; and Curt (Michelle) Hoffman, Coreopolis; grandchildren, Eric, Stephen, Lucas, Dustin, Hastie, Emily, Ashley, Crystal, Andrea, Katie, Jamie, Hunter and Jason; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kalib, Benjamin, Jeramiah, Jazmine, Ryder, Emma, Bailey, Catelyn, Owen and Eli; sisters, Janet Janosik, Accokeek, Md.; and Jean Kisic, Belsano; brothers, Harry, Belsano; Oren, Johnstown; Ben, Mechanicsburg, Md.; William, Belsano; James, North Carolina; and Richard, Virginia. She was affiliated with Belsano United Methodist Church. Patricia was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and baker. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Clayton Harriger, officiating. Interment to follow at Belsano United Methodist Cemetery.
