Mary (Lokos) Gast, 78, Chicago, Ill., formerly of Nanty Glo, died April 3, 2012, in Chicago. Born Sept. 4, 1933, in Cardiff, daughter of the late Steve and Grace (Sabony) Lokos. Preceded in death by brothers and sister, Steve, Blanche Hankus, Joseph and John. Survived by children, Frances Gast, Pittsburgh; Mary Gilgien, Chicago; and Larry Gast, Chicago; grandchildren, Bobby, Anna, Louie and Natalie; and sister, Grace (Orville) Gongloff, Nanty Glo. Friends will received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
