Mary Sharmane (Hopfer) Edwards

Edwards-Mary Sharmane (Hopfer) 85, Ebensburg, passed away Dec. 10, 2021 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1936 in Ebensburg. Daughter of Gilbert and Viola (Davis) Hopfer. Preceded in death by son Wally, parents, siblings Alberta, Lawrence, Sherman, Rhea, Iline, and Barbara. Mary is survived by husband of 67 years Earl. Children Donna (Fred) Kuzemchak; Debra (Fred) Farabaugh; Thomas (Sue) Edwards; Patricia (Chuck) Urgolites; Douglas; Kimberly; Amy; Jamie (Nathan) Faust. 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Siblings Edgar and Darlene and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary will be fondly remembered for her beautiful, embroidered quilts, her delicious home-made bread and suckers, and the many family gatherings at her home. At Mary’s request, the viewing will be private with a memorial service and interment at a later date. Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Nanty Glo will be in charge of the arrangements.
