Marcia J. Boback

Marcia J. Boback, 76, Nanty Glo, went to her heavenly home Feb. 5, 2014. Born Dec. 31,1937, in Nanty Glo, daughter of Andrew and Mary (Martinazzi) Boback. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her loving sisters, Patty and Carolyn, at home; guardians, Robert and Madeline Martinazzi; and numerous cousins; and was lovingly cared for by Skills' group home team leader, Linda Lonesky, and her staff. Marcia had a great sense of humor and loved people. She enjoyed shopping, dressing up, bowling, bingo, making cards for her friends and attending Skills' Senior Day Program. Marcia will be missed by her sisters, cousins, friends and those she spent the day with at Skills. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish, Nanty Glo. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a wake service will be held at 2:30 p.m., followed by the rite of Christian burial with interment immediately after at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo, Deacon James Janosik, officiating. "There are angels among us sent from above to show us how to live and teach us how to give." - Marcia was one of these special angels.
