Kevin J. Yokitis

Kevin J.Yokitis, 33, Revloc, formerly of Nanty Glo, died March 8, 2012, at home. Born Sept. 10, 1978, in Johnstown, son of Leo and Marian (Sherwood) Yokitis. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Jean Yokitis, and maternal grandfather, Leroy Sherwood. Survived by parents; beloved brother, Brian (Danita) Yokitis; sister, Rebecca Yokitis; maternal grandmother and friend, Kae Sherwood; godparents, Barb and Denny Daughenbaugh; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Proud uncle of Josh, Jeannie and Nathan Yokitis. Attended St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo. Kevin worked hard as a mason, crew leader for PCC and meat cutter for several grocery stores, as well as operating his own deer processing business. A 1997 graduate of Blacklick Valley High School. Kevin will be missed for his loyalty to friends and family and to his dog, Mopar. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, Deacon Thomas Buige. In lieu of flowers, make donations to American Lung Association.
