John A. "Tuege" Grecek

John A. Grecek “Tuege”, 83, Nanty Glo, passed away on January 19, 2025 at Arbutus Park Manor. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha (Ostinowsky-Cocho). He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia (Stepien) Grecek. Son, Eric, married to Melanie (Hubbard); and daughter, Robin, married to Brad Holovka. Grandchildren, Braden and Bella Grecek. Brother, Daniel Grecek. And favorite “puppy” Callie. He previously served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired crane operator and fork lift operator at Johnstown America Corporation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting; especially at Tremont and Gallitzin Sportsman. Many special thanks to the workers at VA Home Health, Aseracare Hospice, and Arbutus Park Manor. He will be sadly missed by family and many special friends. Family and friends will be received at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. John Vianney’s Church, 3513 William Penn Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15909. Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Nanty Glo are in charge of the arrangements.
