James E. "Jim" Hartman

Hartman-James E. “Jim,” 76, Nanty Glo, passed away Jan. 22, 2022 at home. He was born May 8, 1945, in Johnstown. Son of the late Harry and Mable (Rager) Hartman. Preceded in death by siblings Twila Moss, Nancy Robertson, Raymond Hartman, and Harry Hartman. Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years Maxine (Deffenbaugh) Hartman. Children Mildred Hartman, Tabatha Hartman, James (Jodi) Hartman, Peggy Hartman, Terri Hartman, and Theresa Hartman. Many grandchildren and great grand children. Brother of Russell (Della) Hartman, Leonard (Gail) Hartman, Margaret Ellis, Theresa (Carl) Settle, Joan (Joe) Kopsic, Hannah (Craig) Rouzer, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He enjoyed playing horseshoes at Benscreek Social Club, going to yard sales and playing pool. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 PM until the time of funeral service at 6PM at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
