Gloria (Beltz) Zimmerman, 67, Florida and Strongstown, died Nov. 4, 2015, in Florida. Born July 26, 1948, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Sarah (Simmons) Beltz Hagens, and stepfather, Lytle Hagens. Preceded in death by sister, Shirley Beltz, and brother, Robert Hagens. Survived by husband, Kenneth Zimmerman, Florida and Strongstown; sons, Michael (Jill) Bugal, Johnstown, and Jeff Brown, Blairsville. Sister of Patricia (Marvin) Mearnic, Strongstown; Virginia (Jim) Meagher, Homer City; Karen (David) Koches, Indiana, Pa.; Cindy (Ted) Starn, Parkesburg, W.Va.; and Donald (Sharon) Hagens, Nunda, N.Y. Also numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her friend Sandra Sanchez, and her husband, Joe, and boys who lived with her and Kenny and helped as her caregiver. Member of Strongstown United Methodist Church. Gloria graduated from Penns Manor High School, Clymer. She was employed by Ebensburg State School, Spangler Hospital, then went on to work as a flagger for Traffic Control Co., then started her own flagging company in 1987. Then in 1990, she started Ken-Glo Supply Co. for heavy highway construction. She also was the owner of Strongstowns B&K. She became a very successful business woman. Gloria lived her life to the fullest. She loved being with family and friends. She was a very generous, loving and caring person, always there to help any way she could. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Clayton Harriger, officiating.
