Gloria M. Petrosky

PETROSKY - Gloria M. (Paul), 91, Nanty Glo, died Aug. 7, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 9, 1920, in Chickeree, daughter of the late Amos and Helen (Shuman) Paul. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph; and brothers and sisters, Dillie Mitchell, Clinton Paul, Fern Donaldson, Savella Heilman, Clifford Paul, Kathleen Barkley, Effie Blair and Everett Paul. Survived by children, Christa (Ronald) Brown, Nanty Glo; and Debbie (Tom) Rege, Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Sheila (Matt) Fitzpatrick, Ron II (Darla), Maleri (Chris) Sterner, Joe (Kelly) and Tom (Amy); and great-grandchildren, Breanna, Braydon, Delaney, William and Brianna. She was affiliated with St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo. Retired from Laurel Crest Manor. Gloria loved traveling, gambling, playing bingo and shopping. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a liturgical wake will be held Thursday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Father Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
