George J.Batovich, 67, Nanty Glo, died May 18, 2013, at home. Born Oct. 25, 1945, in Nanty Glo, son of the late Ralph and Anna (Lesniak) Batovich. Preceded in death by brother, Ralph Jr., and sister, Maryann Sabo. Survived by sisters, Barbara Pawlikowski, New York; Elizabeth (Leo) Martin, Ebensburg; Phyllis (Ed) Franklin, Maryland; and Jo Marie (Tony) Rubbo, Maryland, and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo. Retired from Welder Ring Manufacturing, Ohio. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Father Martin Cingle, celebrant. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
