TAYLOR – Florene (Gussie) (Davis), 90, Nanty Glo, went home to the lord 3-22-20 at Harmony House Manor. Born July 3, 1929 in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Clifford and Pearl (Grant) Davis. Preceded in death by husband, Gerald Taylor, son Gerry Taylor and grandson Blake Divido; sisters Gladys Lloyd, Agnes Lanzendorfer, Nancy Settle and Betty Forman and infant sisters, Rosemarie and Garnett; brothers Alvin, Welcome, Harry and Clifford Davis. Survived by children Cindy (Brett) Divido of Georgia, Candyce (George) Haman, Vinco; also grandchildren, Halie Divido(Matthew Capinas), Elaina Divido, Elijah Divido and Jackson Divido, Dr. Taylor (Andrea) McMullen and step-grandchildren Dr. Mary ( Dr. Andrew) High and Sarah (Nick) Palmeri, and five great grandchildren. Sister of Charlotte Hunnicut, brother-in-law Ron Settle and sister-in-law Ginger Davis. She also dearly loved her many nieces and nephews. Member of Nanty Glo United Methodist Church. Gussie enjoyed spring, summer, and fall seasons in PA and winters in GA. She loved and prayed for her PA and GA families, friends, neighbors, church family and hairdressers. Through the years Gussie sang with various church and community choirs. She was a soloist at many weddings and funerals, and sang to family members as they passed to their eternal rest. We are thankful for so many who supported her in thought, deed, kindness and prayer during her health battles. Special thanks to the staff of Harmony House Manor and Ascera Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
