Emma Mary (Binaut) Barzdo

Emma Mary (Binaut) Barzdo, 94, Nanty Glo, died Dec. 6, 2012, at her sons home in North Carolina. Born July 16, 1918, in Canada, daughter of the late Charles and Dehlia (Blanc) Binaut. Preceded in death by husband, William; brothers and sisters, twin brother, George, Paul, Adaline Truman and Yvette Bivins; stepbrothers, Robert and Eugene Charles; son-in-law, Robert Kinzey; and stepmother, Simone Luchart. Survived by children, Bernice Kinzey, Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; William (Harriet), Hubert, N.C.; and Art (Charlotte), Twin Rocks; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Rykola, Ebensburg, and Charlotte Cornetti, Nanty Glo; brother, Zeph Binaut, Ebensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Marys Church, Nanty Glo. Member of the Legion of Mary and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Emma was an avid bingo player. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Marys Church, the Rev. Father Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Interment, St. Marys Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a hospice service of your choice.
