CUJKO - Delores (Friedman) 87, Nanty Glo, died Jan.13, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 14, 1929, in Johnstown. Daughter of Romie and Marie (Bolha) Friedman. Preceded in death by parents, husband Joseph, brothers Ronald and wife Ethel (Saydak) and Bernard, brother-in-law Robert Urbassik, and niece Rebecca Friedman. Surviving are her sons, James married to Laurene (Redmond), Daytona Beach, FL; and David, who lived with her at home for the past 11-years; granddaughter, Laurie Gorman, NC; great-grandchildren, Lynnsey and Logan Green; sister, Florence Urbassik, brother, Leonard Friedman and wife Anita (Clark), sister-in-law, Carol Jean Friedman (Saylor), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Formerly employed by Glosser Brothers as both a cashier and secretary, and by Penn Traffic as a service desk representative. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, Rosary Alter Society, Croation Fraternal Union, and Slovak Ladies Association. She died on the same date as her husband, Jan. 13, 2004. She never missed an opportunity to profess her unfeigned love for her family, relatives, and friends. She will be mightily missed. Good night Mom see you in the morning. Family and Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where Liturgical Wake will be held. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10:00 at St. Marys Church Nanty Glo, Fr. Leonard Voytek, the Celebrant. Interment to follow in Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's church building fund.
