Daniel J. Nedrich

Nedrich-Daniel, 77, Nanty Glo, passed away Dec. 27, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Jan. 6, 1945 in Johnstown. Son of the late Michael and Julia (Korlinchak) Nedrich. Preceded in death by wife Monica (Parada) Nedrich, brother Ronald (Sandra) Nedrich, brother-in-law Donald Geisler, and nephew Jeffery Geisler. Dan is survived by sister Betty Geisler and brother Gerald (Bertha) Nedrich. He was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a coal miner and was a member of the UMWA Local 1386. Dan enjoyed watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. Visitation will be Monday from 2-6 PM at the Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Nanty Glo, where Parastas Service will be held at 3 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be Tuesday, 11 AM at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Military Services will be conducted by the Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks, and Vintondale Ritual Team.
