Clifford L. "Kip" Smith

Smith-Clifford L., Jr. “Kip”, 75, Nanty Glo, passed away peacefully on Jan 31, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born Aug. 14, 1945 in Johnstown. Son of the late Clifford and Clara (Simmers) Smith Sr. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Albert Yanosky. Kip is survived by his wife of 53 years Christine (Barther) Smith. Children David (Kim) Smith and Colleen (Thomas) Stock. Grandchildren Brody, Austin, Bailey, Dylan, Caleb, Davey. Sisters Carol (Thomas) Kupchella and Cathleen Yanosky. Member of the Nanty Glo United Methodist Church. He was owner and operator of Clifford Smith and Son Electric along with many other businesses. Kip was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family. Visitation will be on Tuesday 5-8 PM at Bowser Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, and on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of funeral service at 11 AM at the Nanty Glo United Methodist. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
