Chad Michael Schilling

Chad Michael Schilling, 32, Nanty Glo, died April 9, 2016, at home. Born Nov. 21, 1983, in Johnstown, son of Jeff 'O.J.' Schilling and Pamela Schilling. Preceded in death by grandfather, Pete Byich; grandmother, Beverly Schilling; and cousins, Corey and Ryan Byich. Survived by parents; Lindsey, and her daughter, Izzy, Nanty Glo; brother, Justin (Ali) Schilling, Fredricksburg, Va.; grandmother, JoAnn Byich, Nanty Glo; grandfather, Benard Schilling, Ebensburg; nieces, Kendal and Delanie Schilling; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Chad was a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, where he was an all-state running back. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Friends received from 4 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. Monday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, with the Rev. Robert Westrick, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chad's family.
