Blanche (Locher) Laughard

Blanche (Locher), 76, Strongstown, passed away March 25, 2017, at Cambria Care Center. She was born May 16, 1940, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by mother, Emma Locher; husband, Clark Laughard, Sr.; daughter, Cheryl McClellan, son Clyde Laughard; grandson, Robert Laughard; and numerous brothers and sisters. Blanche is survived by her children, Clark (Mary) Laughard, Strongstown; Carl (Carol) Laughard, Vinco; Clair (Helen) Laughard, Vintondale; and Clifford (Ellen) Laughard, Vintondale; 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Faith Laughard, Johnstown. Member of Grace Pentecostal Church, Johnstown. Worked many years for Blaine Boring Candy, Johnstown. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at noon, the Rev. Donald Trotz, officiating. Interment to follow in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
