Anna (Risko) Kotelnicki

Anna (Risko) Kotelnicki 91, Nanty Glo, died April 19, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Oct. 16, 1922. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Stanley; son, John; grandsons, Nicholas and Thayne Kotelnicki; brother, Michael; and sisters, Josephine, Helen and Mary. Survived by children, Stanley Kotelnicki, Lehigh Acres, Fla.; Frank "Shank" (Joann) Kotelnicki, Nanty Glo; and Mary Ann (Robert) Mervine, Nanty Glo; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Carmelia Risko, Fort Myers, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and two special nieces, Kathleen Probts and Christine Smith. Longtime member of St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo, where she was a member of the Legion of Mary. Anna was a resident of Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg, where she was lovingly cared for. Her family will always remember her for her gobs and for being so loving and giving to all. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where liturgical wake will be held Wednesday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Father Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal, St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, Nanty Glo, in memory of Anna.
