Agnes E. (Davis) Lanzendorfer, 92, Twin Rocks, died Dec. 31, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Richland. Born Nov. 6, 1921, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Clifford and Pearl (Grant) Davis. Preceded in death by husband, Robert A. Lanzendorfer; sisters, Betty Forman and Gladys Lloyd; infant sisters, Rosemarie and Garnett; brothers, Welcome, Clifford and Harry Davis; and nieces, Georgia Lee and Judy. Survived by children, Bobbi (Ronald) Kikta, Ebensburg; Eugene (Jeannie), Belsano; Garrett (Marilyn), Flinton; and Janet Lanzendorfer, Twin Rocks; grandchildren, Aaron (Alissa), Heather (Craig) McCullough, Lance (Tiffany) Kikta, Brent (Stephanie), Chad (Natalie) and Drew Klezek; and great-grandchildren, Blaise, Rudy, Brody, Stella and Jace Lanzendorfer; Andie and Maggie McCullough; Lexie Kikta; and Paige. Sister of Florene (Gussie) Taylor, Charlotte Hunnicutt, Nancy (Ron) Settle and Alvin (Ginger) Davis; sister-in-law and dear friend, Margaret Hancherick; sisters-in-law, Althea Zeglen, Elizabeth, Elaine and Mary Ann Lanzendorfer; and brother-in-law, Richard Lanzendorfer and Don Foreman. Also survived by lifelong friend, Eleanor Thompson. She was a Rosie the Riveter in Sparrows Point during World War II. Founding member of the ladies auxiliary of VFW, Twin Rocks, Post 7605, and was a supporter of the Guillain-Barre Foundation. She spent many enjoyable summer evenings on her back porch with the 4th Street Ladies Club; Friday mornings with her favorite hairdresser, Betty Grant; and Sunday afternoons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Nanty Glo United Methodist Church, the Rev. John Hickman, officiating. Interment to follow at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Nanty Glo United Methodist Church Renovation Fund.
